A Hospitality Resource Booking Management System
📄 Project Abstract
This project follows the holistic development of a system enabling users to schedule room bookings as well as any associated catering and/or AV equipment. As well as this, additional functionality was incorporated in order to enable meeting agendas and meetings aids such as PowerPoint slides to be written and uploaded, ultimately allowing users to run meetings via the system. The client is a national pharmaceuticals company with numerous sites across the UK. Their current promotion in using web-based systems across the company has meant that their current room booking system needs replacing. This system makes use of two interfaces, each catering for their intended user. However, the difference in their functionality has been seen to be causing problems across its user base and as a result the system is inefficiently utilised. The company is hoping that a new system combining the two interfaces into one web-based system will resolve the current inconsistencies and increase system usage....
