A Customisable Management Information System forWoodkirk High School

📄 Project Abstract

The aim of this project was to develop a prototype system to provide teaching staff at Woodkirk High School with a customisable management information system that details information specific to them, their roles within the school and their teaching activities. The system provides performance information on students, classes, year groups, departments and teachers which will allow users to quickly identify performance issues so that they can react to them quickly. The prototype accommodates users of all levels and abilities by allowing them to customise their personal interface. The customisable interface will allow the user to be able to selectively identify performance problems within the school that relate to them. The project followed an adapted version of the Agile Unified Process which allowed the project to be managed successfully and led to the successful delivery of all milestones.
