A Content Management System for the Creation of Engaging Headlines

📄 Project Abstract

This report outlines the development of a content management system, built for the creation of engaging and popular headlines. It involves the construction of a web-based system, one that adheres to modern web development principles and methodologies. The system is separated into two components, a front-end a back-end. This is to allow the headline analysis service to be accessed by users independent of their device, whether on mobile or desktop, as long as the service is hosted on a server, it can be accessed via web browser. Moreover, building a back-end separately allows the project to be extendible in the future, letting anyone use this system and it's infrastructure to enhance their applications with natural language processing capabilities. The aim of the tool is to allow users to input a headline, and view metrics about the headline, such as sentiment and the entities within it.
