📄 Project Abstract

This project investigates the biological process of angiogenesis in response to solid tumours and how this local vascular network forms in response to chemotactic factors. The various modelling techniques which have been previously used in computational angiogenesis modelling have been evaluated and the best techniques have been combined and adapted to produce a new model. This model has been implemented, tested and evaluated to determine its accuracy and an investigation of further development or problem areas have been explored.
