This study was designed to investigate the attrition rate of boys and girls in some selected secondary schools in Enugu State. Some pertinent objectives were set out to be achieved which are: To analyse the school-type and students' preference to stay at school the most; To compare the gender-type that prefers to stay at school the most and; To determine the factors that influence students' preference to stay in secondary schools.
