 The main purpose of this study was to examine the time management practices of Nsukka Education Zone of Enugu State secondary school administrators/principals. The zone is made up of Nsukka, Igbo-Etiti and Uzo-Uwani local government areas with 59 secondary schools. The study used a descriptive survey design. The study covered the 59 secondary schools in Nsukka Education Zone of Enugu State controlled by the State Government through the Post Primary School Management Board. The population of the study was all the administrators/principals of the 59 secondary schools. Sampling was not done as all the 59 secondary school administrators were used for the study. Four (4) research questions and three (3) null hypothesis guided the study. Means were used to answer the research questions and t-test statistics was used to test the hypothesis. The structured research questionnaire of an adapted time management practices inventory was used to collect the data. The result of the study indicated that: all the five time management practices of perfectionist, fence sitter, hopper, allergic to detail and cliff hanger apply to Nsukka Education Zone administrators, with perfectionist practice ranking first. Though it empirically shows that the school location, gender of the administrators and the administrators’ experiences seem to influence the administrators’ use of the time management practices all the variables when tested do not significantly influence the administrators’ use of time management practices. The findings were discussed and relevant conclusions were made from there. The implications were also highlighted. The researcher made appropriate recommendations in the light of the findings, these included among others, that the Enugu State Government through her relevant agencies should organize seminars, conferences, workshops and other educational fora for secondary school administrators in Nsukka Education Zone to enable them appropriately apply time management practices in their administrative duties. Educational planners should also ensure that time management practices are included in the secondary school curriculum. Finally, limitations of the study were highlighted and suggestions for further research were made.
