 The study sought to investigate the relationship between self- concept and vocational interest among SS11 students in Abuja. In pursuance of the aforementioned objectives, research questions were written and hypotheses were postulated. The sample consisted of 326 SS11 students from three government secondary school in Abuja. Four hypotheses tested at 0.05 level of significance using t-test chi-square and ANOVA statistical analysis. The results showed that there is a relationship between students self-concept and class based areas; There is a significant difference in the mean score rating of artistic self-concept when students’ are classified into cass based areas; There is significance difference of students vocational interest and class based areas; There is no significance difference in the mean score rating of vocational interest based on class type when we consider social vocational interest area; students self-concept rating and vocational interest rating differ significantly. Gender showed no significant difference in students self-concept as well as vocational interest of students is influenced by gender. Implications of these findings were stressed. It was recommended among others that well packaged seminars and workshops be organized regularly, including the school base management committee in various schools to intimate parents, teachers and counselors on self-concept and vocational interest and needs of the students. Limitations of the study were highlighted and summary and conclusion drawn.
