Abstract
This study examined community involvement practices for facilitating the implementation of Universal Basic Education Programme in Obollo-Afor Education Zone. Three research questions and three null hypotheses were stated to guide the study. Descriptive survey design was adopted for the study, the population of the study consisted of 48 principals, 100 headmasters and 60 community leaders. The entire population was used. A questionnaire was developed and validated by experts. The instrument developed was used for data collection. Data collected were analyzed using mean and standard deviation for the three research questions while the three null hypotheses were analysis of variance (ANOVA). The result of the study among other things showed that the communities should assist in planning for revenue yielding activities and that the communities should protect the physical environment of the school like land and other equipment. Recommendations and suggestions for further studies were also made
